Description
- Aided by experienced FHRP observers, become better informed about our watershed while discovering a relatively undisturbed forested stream area of our parks system.
- Gain knowledge about how the Department of Public Works is managing stormwater by conducting stream restoration.
- The initial hike will be about one mile in length. There will be a option to hike an additional mile in the woods south of Northern Parkway.
- Dress for the Weather!
- Note: This is an off-trail hike with a variety of terrain, so you may want to bring hiking sticks. Children are welcome if accompanied by a parent.
